I did not know how addicting family research could be untill I actualy started it my self. I rememberd when I was a little girl my grandmother Alice Rupert was looking for her brother Henry she would put adds in news papers in every state that she knew he had been in but never heard from him. My grandmother never realy knew much about her dads side of the family. Just before she died she sent away for his birth certificate and the man at the birth records in canada knew of the last name and contacted a man who turned out to be her second cousin. He wrote to my grandma and told her a little about her family that she never got to meet. my grandma died in 1987. I knew how inportant it was to my grandma to find her brother so when I got my computer in 2002 I thought that I would try to find him.

I heard about genealogy.com how you can put names in the search and and search for family . So I put my grandmas brothers name in and didnt find his name so I found out that on that site you can leave mesages on the forums so I put in my grandmas dad and her mom and my grandpas parents names and left mesages about them and with in a week I was hearing from people that my dad didnt even know exisited. It became so addicting that I couldnt get off of my computer.

So I created this site to share every thing that I have gathered from reltives and other people. In no way am I finished I still have lots more names and dates to add. Hopefuly every thing is corect. If not I appoligize. IF any body has any information or photos they are willing to share I cant wait to recieve it.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
